Stuart Ellingham (aka “Chook” – no relation to The Chook House!) is the General Manager of Horizon Farming – a group of sheep and beef farms across Hawke’s Bay. Though primarily based in his home office on the farm, Stuart is frequently seen using the meeting rooms at The Chook House to get together with staff and suppliers. This helps Stuart work in a professional manner, without having to host business associates in his own home. The Chook House is also a handy place to stop off, have a coffee and check his emails between other appointments while he’s in town. You will know when Stuart is in the House as his dirty gumboots will be lined up at the door!
